Torin Monahan (Ph.D. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute 2003) is Associate Professor of Human & Organizational Development and Associate Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University. With training in the field of science and technology studies (STS), his current research focuses on the social implications of surveillance and security systems.

Jill Fisher's work focuses on the politics of medicine in the United States, particularly the ways in which medicine is being shaped by neoliberal ideologies. She is currently initiating a project on RFID technologies in healthcare systems.
